St. Joseph’s School, a private English Medium School at Bhagalpur (Estd. 1983) has grown in stature over the years and emerged as a Premium Centre for quality and standard education for the boys and girls up to 10+2 classes.

The school, managed and maintained by the Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur, has explicit mission of training young minds to acquire integrated personality, to become useful, loyal and alert citizen of India and to serve as a active agents of India’s socio-economic transformation.

Our curricular frame includes the contents of modern education, including the foundations of technical and moral education, and our co-curricular activities are based on the cordial principles of discipline, character building and self-reliant outlook. We are committed for all round development concept of education which develops every aspect of the child’s personality.

GENERAL  INFORMATION

St. Joseph ‘s School is a unaided minority English medium School established and conducted by the Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur for the education of boys and girls up to higher secondary School level which is affiliated to The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. It is open to all without distinction of caste or creed.

The purpose of the institution is to impart to its pupils a sound, moral, intellectual, and physical education, to train them to be useful and loyal citizens of India, and to help them to become agents of needed social changes in the country.

Realizing that education is an all round development of the pupil, the institution constantly endeavours to direct to this end all Curricular studies and co-Curricular activities with special emphasis on discipline, formation of character and self-reliance.

The medium of institution is English, but very special emphasis is given to Hindi, the national language, Moral instruction, which is essential for character formation is imparted to all pupils.
